The project

Being ashamed makes the individual aware of their existence and the gaze of the other. When one is ashamed, blushes, and returns to oneself. You need to break free from that feeling to move on. La Honte gathers the experience of five performers and builds an embarrassing fiction from their stories. It's a fragile playground for adults. In this context, several questions arise: if we could hear the "mental pollution" in which we are immersed, what would it sound like? What would it tell us? What does the dancer think when he prepares himself for the action or while he is performing his movements? The contradiction of the performer on stage facing his shame refers us to everyday situations where "saying and doing" is not necessarily the same thing. We look and they look at us, absurdly human. As someone said, "If you really want to be understood, hire a good translator."
